DVT is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. Requirements

Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience
Strong Excel skills
Sage Intacct experience advantageous
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices accurately to the correct supplier and general ledger accounts.

Perform monthly supplier reconciliations between supplier statements and Sage Intacct accounts. Identify, investigate and resolve discrepancies and reconciling items.

Load payments onto the banking platform for approval and release by authorised management

Process payment cashbook entries accurately. Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets schedule for the entity Maintain accurate supplier/vendor records.

Perform monthly reconciliation of the Accounts Payable Trial Balance.

Maintain accurate filing and financial records for audit purposes.

Complete month-end reporting within specified time frames.

Monthly journals for associated entities. Assist with month-end procedures, including accruals, prepayments, and AP ledger reconciliations.
