We are looking for a Backend Software Developer to join our application development and support team. In this role, you will help maintain and enhance business applications, investigate technical issues, and contribute to improvements that make our systems more reliable and efficient.

• →Develop, enhance, test, and maintain backend services and business applications.
• →Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and related database objects.
• →Support application and data integrations with internal and external systems.
• →Investigate and resolve application, integration, and data-processing issues.
• →Participate in code reviews, testing, and other activities that help maintain code quality.
• →Monitor application performance, logs, and alerts, and work with relevant teams to address issues.
• →Collaborate with Business Analysts, Infrastructure, Deployment, and Operations Support teams throughout the development and support lifecycle.
• →Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution notes, deployment guides, incident records, and operational instructions.
• →Follow the organization’s development, security, and compliance standards.
• →Contribute ideas to improve application stability, development practices, and support processes.
• →Participate in production support and on-call rotation when required.

To be a successful candidate for this role, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development and application support.
• Hands-on programming experience with a backend language. Experience with Python or C#/.NET would be an advantage.
• Experience in production application support, incident handling, and BAU operations.
• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, DML, and DDL.
• Experience working with APIs and system integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.

• Experience with REST or SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices.
• Exposure to monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of common security controls such as RBAC, auditing, encryption, or data masking.
• Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, AML, Compliance, or Risk Management systems.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow.
