Title: Marketing and Strategy Summer Associate
The Marketing and Strategy Summer Associate is responsible for supporting and executing on specific projects (generally described below) as defined by East Point’s Marketing Manager and Director of Policy, Strategy, and External Affairs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform new market entry assessments for energy storage development
- Develop energy technology roadmap and strategy
- Develop and implement marketing AI use cases
- Research media outlets in priority markets
- Create and strategize around project and company related digital content
- Project manage current post-development PR/Communications efforts, develop standard operating procedure for future efforts
- Development and curation of marketing materials and content
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to communicate across a broad spectrum of technical understanding - written, verbal and non-verbal
- Familiarity with AI platforms

Education & Experience:
- Current MBA student
- Experience in communications or marketing
- Experience in energy industry preferred
- Understanding of battery storage and revenue stack of projects preferred
- Experience creating marketing materials, including digital content
Travel & Time Commitment:
- No travel required
- Internship; 40 hours/week during our regular hours of operation, 8:30AM - 5PM (30 min unpaid lunch)
- 8 -10 weeks (June-August), based on candidate availability. Preference for longer commitments
Location:
East Point Energy office in Charlottesville, VA
