This is an all-rounder accountant role for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine love of figures. You'll work across the full accounting function within a fast-moving tech business, where the detail matters and the numbers carry weight. We're after an experienced, technically strong accountant who works well autonomously and brings considered, data-driven insight rather than simply closing the books.
- Oversee the accounts receivable function, including allocating receipts from bank statements to the debtors' ledger, debtor reconciliation and handling all internal and external enquiries
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, including recording and paying bills, acting as a key contact for creditors and ensuring compliance with company policy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain asset control procedures
- Maintain an accurate general ledger, ensuring financial records comply with accepted policies, while investigating variances and proposing corrective actions
- Manage month-end processes and reporting, including month-end journals, reconciliations and intercompany transactions and balances
- Collaboration and coordination with overseas entities to support financial reporting, and other finance-related activities
- Support the annual audit and regulatory compliance
- Support consolidation and group reporting
- Provide accounting support to internal and external stakeholders, including tax compliance, budgeting, and data analysis
- Maintain efficient document management and record keeping
- Minimum of 4 years' financial and management accounting experience, CPA/CA qualified
- Prior experience in software development or SaaS industries, accounting, advisory or a comparable role
- Solid understanding of accounting concepts around asset capitalisation and revenue recognition
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial control
- A high degree of flexibility and strong prioritisation skills
Nice to Have
