Be embedded in the ads manager daily, not just pulling weekly reports. This is a hands on role for a performance marketer who treats campaign optimisation as a craft. You will build, launch, monitor and optimise campaigns across paid social with your finger on the pulse of every dollar spent.
Sharpen the paid social engine across Meta, TikTok and X, building and launching campaigns without needing to be told what good looks like.
This is a build and execute role for someone who wants to grow into a specialist and eventually own a channel.
We know that innovation ignites when we build and create together, in person. This is a full-time opportunity at our Melbourne office. You’ll work right where it all happens, surrounded by our fearless crew shipping high-impact work.
- Build, launch, and manage paid social campaigns from brief to live across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, X, Reddit and assigned channels, covering audience setup through to creative trafficking
- Write ad copy variations, develop creative briefs and collaborate with designers to produce scroll-stopping assets
- Set up audience frameworks: custom audiences, lookalikes, interest stacks and exclusions
- Own naming conventions, UTM structures, and campaign hierarchies so anyone can pick it up immediately
- Support A/B test setups across creatives, placements, objectives and offer types, and document what worked and why
- Review paid social performance every morning for action, not reporting — flag fatiguing creatives and propose replacements fast
- Monitor spend pacing, CPM trends, CTR patterns, and landing page CVR signals daily
- Scale winning creatives quickly; cut underperformers without attachment
- Adjust targeting and bids in response to live sporting events, promotions, competitor activity and regulatory windows
- Pull and format daily, weekly and monthly performance data across all active paid channels, focused on a clear story: what happened, why and what's changing
- Maintain live dashboards so the team isn't chasing numbers
- Feed creative performance insights back to design and content teams in plain language
- Work closely with Creative, Social, Product, Affiliate and other marketing teams to align campaigns with launches, offers and key sporting moments
- Coordinate with designers on asset turnaround, especially during peak periods
- Partner with CRM and BI on audience suppression and retargeting logic to avoid wasting budget on existing players
- Test continuously across hooks, headlines, formats, audiences, creatives, landing pages, offers and bid strategies
- Feed clear performance insights back to the creative team: what won, what failed, what needs another version
- Stay across platform updates and industry trends, be first to raise your hand to test something new
- Document test results so learnings are shared across the team
- 2–3+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience with daily execution in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- Proven track record managing real budgets (not just assisting) and delivering against CPA, ROAS and LTV targets
- Experience establishing and managing medium to large scale budgets
- Deep experience with bid management, audience segmentation and campaign structuring
- Background in competitive, high volume verticals: gaming, e-commerce, fintech, travel or similar
- Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Supermetrics or similar)
