Responsibilities

→Lead and support multiple engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
→Mentor and coach team members, including tech leads, helping them grow technically and professionally through feedback, career development plans, and tailored learning initiatives.
→Provide a clear strategic vision, ensuring teams work cohesively toward common goals.
→Contribute hands-on where necessary, including technical design reviews, code reviews, and assisting in critical incident escalations to unblock the team.
→Establish delivery excellence practices, ensuring processes and workflows are effective, efficient, and scalable.
→Promote a culture that encourages learning from challenges, celebrates successes, and drives collective team achievement.

Requirements

Proven software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in building and delivering production systems.
Proven track record of managing multiple squads of high performing engineering teams.
Proven experience developing and executing strategic plans for engineering initiatives, aligning them with business objectives.
Significant experience mentoring and coaching engineers and tech leads.
Experience solving complex technical and organizational challenges
Solid understanding of scalable systems, modern development practices, and engineering best practices.
Effective communicator who can collaborate seamlessly with leaders from other departments, ensuring alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
