Project Accountant, Infrastructure Solutions (Bangsar South)

Responsibilities

• Track project performance through profit & loss, balance sheet, and key financial metrics to ensure healthy financial standing.
• Ensure accurate and timely accruals of project revenue and costs, including reviewing purchase requisitions before approval.
• Investigate financial discrepancies and promptly highlight potential risks to Business Controller and Business Analyst.
• Conduct financial analysis of project outcomes and assess impact on the overall business unit performance.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in line with Business Unit and Group Finance requirements.
• Assist in preparing project budgets and forecasts while ensuring adherence to timelines and data accuracy for all reporting levels.
• Support audits and prepare financial inputs for board papers, regulatory submissions, or management presentations.
• Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders to resolve financial reporting and project-related queries.
• Collaborate with finance teams to identify and implement enhancements in forecasting, reporting, and data capture processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field. 
• 4 to 6 years working experience in financial and project accounting. 
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements in the finance and accounting domain.
