Job Description: Principal – Residential / Boarding School Location: Uttarakhand Experience Required: Minimum 8–10 years in a Residential / Boarding School environment (Mandatory) Role Summary We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead a reputed residential school located in the serene academic environment Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience working in a boarding school setup, with strong leadership capabilities to manage academic excellence, student welfare, faculty development, and overall school administration. The role requires a dynamic education leader who can ensure high academic standards while maintaining a disciplined, nurturing, and holistic residential learning environment. Key Responsibilities Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the school. Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and maintain high academic standards. Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential school including academics, discipline, student welfare, and co-curricular activities. Lead, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure professional growth and performance excellence. Maintain a structured and disciplined residential environment for students. Develop and implement policies that support academic excellence and holistic development. Coordinate with school management regarding planning, budgeting, and institutional growth. Ensure compliance with board regulations and educational standards. Encourage innovation in teaching methodologies and academic practices. Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and the broader school community. Skills & Qualifications Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline with B.Ed / M.Ed (mandatory). Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a Residential / Boarding School in similar roles. Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage academics, administration, and student life in a boarding school environment.
