This role demands empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to student growth, making it a cornerstone of holistic education. *Responsibilities* - Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions to support students’ emotional, psychological, and academic needs. - Identify early signs of academic stress, anxiety, or behavioural issues and implement timely interventions. - Maintain accurate and confidential student records, including progress notes and intervention plans. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrative staff to develop individualised support plans for students. - Organize and facilitate workshops on topics such as stress management, time management, peer relationships, and career planning. - Serve as a liaison between students and school leadership to advocate for student needs and promote a supportive school culture. - Support students during transitions (e.g., new admissions, grade changes, or graduation) with targeted guidance. - Promote mental health awareness through campaigns, events, and resource dissemination. - Stay updated on best practices in student counselling and educational psychology through continuous professional development.
