Sales & Marketing Assistant

Supporting the sales team

• →Prepare quotes, enter orders, and follow up on open accounts
• →Maintain customer records, pricing, and order history in the company system
• →Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and route them to the right person
• →Coordinate with production and shipping on order timelines and customer commitments
• →Prepare sales materials, product information sheets, and presentations
• →Build and schedule social media, email, and promotional content
• →Track sales and campaign performance and pull together simple reports
• →Support trade shows, product launches, and customer visits
• →Handle general administrative work that keeps the sales function moving

Growing into outreach

• →Follow up on inbound leads and qualify them for the sales team
• →Reconnect with lapsed and inactive accounts
• →Research and build prospect lists in target markets
• →Take on your own outbound calls and accounts as you build product knowledge

• Post secondary education in business, marketing, commerce, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Comfortable on the phone with customers
• Solid Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Organized, accurate, and able to manage several tasks at once
• Self starter who takes direction well and follows through without reminders
• Interest in sales, marketing, and consumer products
• Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle is an asset

• $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
• Day shift 7am-3pm, Monday to Friday
• Broad exposure across sales, marketing, and operations in a growing company
• Direct access to decision makers and room to take on more as you prove yourself
