Under general supervision, the Key Account Rep is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of customer quotes, orders, and dispute resolution. Working in a collaborative team environment, this role supports a shared portfolio of customer accounts and ensures a seamless customer experience through efficient communication and service delivery.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, processing orders, and providing detailed product information.
- →Reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications provided by customers to determine product needs.
- →Managing and tracking customer requests from initial inquiry through production and delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
- →Processing order modifications, cancellations, and returns accurately and efficiently.
- →Managing ongoing quote follow-ups by regularly updating reports, tracking status changes in customer databases and coordinating with third-party vendors.
- →Collaborating with internal departments such as customer service, logistics, and finance to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
- →Maintaining customer records in customer database for accurate tracking and reporting.
- →Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure operational alignment and customer satisfaction.
- →Maintain accurate account data and interactions within CRM tools.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 year of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Excellent customer service skills, including effective listening and communication.
- Ability to handle difficult or emotional customer situations with professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and competing demands.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Experience in the HVAC or manufacturing industry
- Experience supporting multi-site or large project accounts.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software
