Job Title: Certified Peer Recovery Specialist / Supportive Housing Staff (Multi-Employer Role)
Location: Baltimore, MD (On-site at multiple locations)
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience and credentials)
Job Description:This is a multi-employer, part-time, W-2 role encompassing responsibilities across four affiliated organizations under shared leadership. The position involves providing peer support, case management, residential supervision, and supportive services to individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, homelessness, or co-occurring challenges. The role requires collaboration with external providers, maintaining compliance with regulations, and ensuring a safe, recovery-oriented environment at multiple supportive housing and behavioral health sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide peer-based support, mentorship, and recovery planning assistance.
- Support clients in developing life skills, navigating community resources, and maintaining wellness.
- Conduct regular on-site safety checks, medication management, and documentation.
- Assist with resident engagement, crisis response, and coordination with clinical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices.
- Support program operations, including safety drills, property maintenance, and resident meetings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (additional education preferred).
- Valid Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential.
- Personal lived experience with recovery from substance use and/or mental health challenges.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks, obtain CPR/First Aid certification, and complete onboarding.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
