Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join the Port Elizabeth team, · · General payroll administration for approximately 300 employees across ±25 clients · Month-end statutory reporting · EMP501 reconciliations (annual and interim submissions), including variance analysis, query resolution, and reconciliation support to the team · Administration and updating of contracts where required · COIDA / Workmen’s Compensation annual submissions and query management · Completion and submission of UI19, UI2.7, and work schedules for the Department of Employment and Labour (including queries and follow-ups) · Active leave management and monitoring · Support with Department of Labour audits and related requirements · Responding to and resolving employee payroll queries · Regular communication with franchisees regarding payroll processing and pay runs · Handling and resolution of general payroll and client-related queries · Sound working knowledge of the BCEA and LRA and how these impact payroll processing · Assisting with the management of the payroll team, including: o Daily task allocation and oversight o Training and development o Ensuring adherence to procedures, controls, and deadlines · Preparation and administration of final salary ACB payments and Friday payment schedules, in coordination with Senior Payroll staff and submission to the Payroll Manager for distribution to Accounting/Bookkeeping teams · Monthly Medical Aid and Provident fund processing and reconciliation. Requirements · · Grade 12 · Finance qualification preferred · Minimum of 4 years’ payroll experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior payroll role. · Hands-on experience with medical aid and provident fund administration preferred · Exposure to bookkeeping or accounting support functions preferred · SAGE300 / VIP Payroll experience · Proficient is MS Office
