We are a R&D unit in Ericsson, building world class cloud-native based AI/ML big-data analytics software for telecom operators. We are looking for a dedicated, competent, dynamic and proactive individual having experience in RAN NDO and in 4G/5G. What you will do • Guide the team from Network Design & Optimization / RAN domain point of view: defining practical NDO frameworks and algorithms that provide customer value. • Showcase domain expertise leadership, evaluating algorithms and models results from a practical NDO domain perspective and extracting right insights and conclusions to improve them. • Analyze requirements for Cognitive Software rApps. • Member of the NDO community for knowledge sharing and contribution. • Verification of results from domain point of view and definition of practical ways of introducing the outputs generated by the products into customer NDO processes. • Define and validate visualization for optimal User Experience (UX). • Contribution to the backlog of the team including automations or development of requirements. • Support to product documentation. • Support the application introductions and operation transformations of our customers. What you will bring • Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or IT. • Measurable experience in radio access network design and optimization with projects / explorations / technical papers. • NDO expertise in 5G and 4G. Would be an advantage to also have knowledge on Cloud-RAN. • Some level of understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML & AI) technologies. Experience would be highly appreciated. • Experience in Python coding. • Deep Data Analytics knowledge and advanced deductive analytical logic skills (statistical analysis, statistical tools, methods/processes to analyze data, data correlation) would be highly regarded. • Able to work effectively as part of a diverse team in complex and demanding engagements.
