## Join our Team About this opportunity: This opportunity offers a key Technical Authority (2nd Level Assurance) role within a 24×7 TV Network Management Centre (TVNMC). The role is responsible for ensuring high availability and SLA compliance across live broadcast, on‑deamand, interactive TV, and media application services. You will handle complex incidents beyond front‑office support, working with Linear Broadcast, IPTV/OTT platforms, VOD systems, middleware, interactive services, and media delivery applications. It provides strong exposure to end‑to‑end media workflows while collaborating with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and partners—ideal for engineers seeking technical ownership and growth in customer‑facing, mission‑critical media operations. What you will do: Take full ownership of reactive maintenance activities beyond Front Office (L1 monitoring), ensuring faults are diagnosed and resolved with minimal service impact. Ensure ongoing SLA/WLA compliance and maintain the highest levels of service availability for customers. Lead incident handling, fault diagnosis, service restoration, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to drive permanent fault resolution. Manage and resolve escalated tickets with accountability, ensuring timely updates and closure within defined SLA windows. Engage directly with customers, providing clear technical communication and maintaining a customer-first approach throughout every interaction. Influence and guide NOC teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders toward effective and timely fault resolution. The skills you bring: Education: Degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, Telecom Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. Experience: 4–10 years of hands-on experience in Telecom or Media Delivery environments. Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to manage expectations and deliver results under pressure. Proven track record in 2nd Level support, troubleshooting, ticket handling, escalation management, and RCA. Broadcast-Centric Expertise Deep understanding of live broadcast signal flow, including IRD, Encoders, Transcoders, Broadcast Gateways, MPEG-2/4 Transport Streams, Multicast IP, Multiplexers, Remux, and Modulators. Hands-on experience with RF and Satellite systems, including IF/RF infrastructure, L-Band routers, splitters, C/Ku band dishes, link budget calculations, frequency planning, and symbol rate management. Working knowledge of OTT platforms, including headend design, Middleware, CDN, DRM, and OTT streaming protocols such as DASH, HLS, Smooth, and HDS. Familiarity with EMS/NMS monitoring tools for platform performance and alarm management. Experience with Compliance Recording systems and processes. Understanding of Interactive Services including Red Button Services, FAST Channels, and Mosaic Services. Hands-on experience with IPTV platforms, covering rolling stream servers, performance and software management via NMS, content distribution via CDN, and Replay TV service VOD & Content-Centric Expertise Strong knowledge of the VOD ecosystem, including Catch-up TV, progressive download, and deferred live services. Experience managing VOD ingestion pipelines and Content Management Systems (CMS). Familiarity with playback and storage infrastructure, including live content storage servers and ADC servers. Understanding of VOD Advanced Advertising solutions, including manifest delivery and control mechanisms. Experience with media delivery applications, including application integration and media content publishing workflows. Multi-vendor expertise across VOD and content delivery platforms.
