The Assistant Activation Tour Manager / Non-CDL Support Driver will support a national touring experiential activation representing heavy and compact construction equipment. This role will travel with the tour in a non-CDL auxiliary support vehicle and assist the Tour Managers with logistics, event setup and teardown, presentation support, reporting, customer experience, and general day-to-day execution.
This position is client-facing and brand-critical. The Assistant Tour Manager is expected to represent both the client and Feld with professionalism, poise, attention to detail, and adherence to all safety and operational standards. This is a full-time traveling role that supports a multi-stop national tour.
Operate a non-CDL auxiliary support vehicle to, from, and between events and other tour locations in a safe and timely manner.
Support the Tour Managers with daily logistics, including event preparation, site readiness, equipment staging, asset organization, and communication of field needs.
Assist with setup, activation, and teardown of the Roadshow footprint, including tents, tables, signage, display assets, collateral, customer-facing areas, and general event presentation.
Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the tour footprint, support vehicle, display materials, and customer-facing assets.
Support the Tour Managers during product demonstrations by assisting with guest flow, customer engagement, collateral distribution, safety awareness, and general presentation needs.
Assist with coordination of Brand Ambassadors onsite, including direction around greeting guests, catering support, trash/receptacle management, photo capture, recap support, and general customer-area support.
Support post-event reporting by capturing photos, gathering event notes, documenting customer feedback, and submitting recap information as directed.
Assist with pre-event communication and readiness, including confirming site details, catering delivery, customer area needs, setup location, and other event logistics as assigned.
Help ensure catering, water, ice, drinks, and hospitality items are received, organized, and presented professionally before customers arrive.
Assist with routine checks of tour assets and support materials, identifying maintenance, cleanliness, inventory, or presentation needs and escalating concerns to the Tour Managers and office team.
Support safe loading, unloading, staging, and organization of non-CDL support items, event materials, and display assets.
Uphold the integrity of the brand experience while keeping safety, professionalism, and the customer experience at the forefront.
Collaborate with Tour Managers, Brand Ambassadors, client representatives, vendors, and event hosts to ensure a high-quality guest experience at each stop.
Travel on the road for the duration of the assigned tour route and support a fast-paced, multi-market schedule.
Uphold all safety, risk, and operational SOPs.
3+ years’ experience supporting experiential marketing campaigns, touring activations, mobile marketing programs, live events, logistics, or similar field-based programs preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
Experience driving support vehicles, cargo vans, pickup trucks, or similar non-CDL vehicles preferred.
Experience supporting event setup, teardown, logistics, and customer-facing activations preferred.
Familiarity with construction equipment, rental equipment, automotive, powersports, or heavy equipment environments is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients, customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be an integral part of a team, with limited supervision.
Comfortable speaking with customers, supporting presentations, and assisting with live demonstrations.
Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset.
Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair tour assets.
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time; ability to lift and carry 75+lbs.
Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player.
Ability to travel full-time for the duration of the tour.
Ability to operate safely and professionally in a touring environment with changing schedules, locations, and field conditions.
Ability to keep tour assets, supplies, and event materials clean, stocked, and ready.
Ability to support setup and teardown of event displays, tents, tables, signage, and customer-facing assets.
Ability to communicate effectively with Tour Managers, Brand Ambassadors, client representatives, vendors, and office team members.
Ability to learn quickly and become knowledgeable about client initiatives, tour goals, event expectations, and product messaging.
Comfortable interacting with customers and supporting a professional guest experience.
Ability to capture event photos and provide clear recap notes and field feedback.
Demonstrated computer proficiency with working knowledge of Excel, Word, email, and mobile reporting tools.
Ability to troubleshoot basic field issues and escalate concerns quickly and professionally.
Self-starter with proven ability to stay organized, anticipate needs, and support the team proactively.
Critical thinker and team player who can help reduce pressure on the Tour Managers and improve overall tour execution.
