Management Accounting Intern

About the Role

As a Management Accounting Intern, you will support business unit leaders by assisting in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial data. This role provides hands-on experience in cost analysis, financial planning, and performance reporting to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• • Financial Analysis and Reporting

  •   ◦ Assist in preparing monthly, annual, and long-term cost projections, trend analyses, and expenditure forecasts
    

  •   ◦ Support the analysis of financial data to identify insights for business decisions
    

  •   ◦ Aid in the preparation of reports for management review
    

• • Cost and Business Analysis

  •    ◦ Assist in collecting and analyzing operational costs
       ◦ Contribute to recommendations based on financial insights
    

  •    ◦ Support the evaluation of processes and policies to help improve cost efficiency and profitability
    

• • Cross-Functional Coordination

  •   ◦ Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Corporate Services, Marketing, Product Management)
    

  •   ◦ Support the computation and analysis of importation and operational costs

Qualifications

• Must-Have

•   ◦ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
    ◦ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    ◦ Knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
    ◦ Detail-oriented and organized
    ◦ Willing to learn and support finance operations

• Nice-to-Have (Optional but recommended!)

•   ◦ Bachelor’s Degree in Management Accounting
    ◦ Familiarity with accounting concepts or financial documentation
    ◦ Experience with data entry or administrative tasks (school or internship)
