Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking a Hotel Assistant Manager to join our Front Office leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a guest facing leadership role and enjoys taking ownership of hotel operations.
As Hotel Assistant Manager, you will support and lead the day to day operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth operational delivery across all departments.
Acting as one of the senior leaders on property, you will oversee guest arrivals and departures, support operational teams, manage service recovery situations, and drive service excellence throughout the guest journey. You will also participate in the hotel's Duty Manager programme and play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and support Front Office operations, including Reception, Guest Services, Concierge, and Communications
- →Ensure a seamless and personalised arrival and departure experience for all guests
- →Act as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, service recovery, and operational escalations
- →Support and coach team members, driving engagement and performance
- →Monitor daily operations to ensure exceptional service standards are consistently achieved
- →Maintain strong communication across all hotel departments to ensure operational excellence
- →Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food and Beverage, and other departments to support guest satisfaction
- →Support Duty Manager coverage and represent hotel leadership when required
- →Maintain health, safety, security, and emergency procedures throughout the hotel
- →Assist with special projects, VIP arrivals, and operational initiatives as required
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management Front Office role within a luxury hotel environment
- Strong Front Office knowledge with an understanding of wider hotel operations
- Excellent leadership and team development skills
- Exceptional guest service and problem solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to make decisions confidently and effectively in a fast paced environment
- Professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Experience with Opera PMS
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including occasional overnight coverage
- Right to Work in the UK
- Full time position based on a 40 hour working week
- Primarily daytime shifts across a rotating schedule
- Flexibility required across mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and occasional overnight coverage
