Who are we looking for?
Due to a strong future pipeline of work across the Contamination Assessment and Remediation (CAR) team in Adelaide, we are seeking applications from early mid career professionals.
Bring your experience and expertise to a variety of projects, including groundwater, waste, soil, surface water, asbestos, PFAS and hydrocarbon contamination site assessments. This includes monitoring and reporting activities.
Working in our collaborative and supportive team, you’ll have access to a global network of industry specialists and exposure to multi-disciplinary and diverse projects and clients.
Our position will see you involved in:
- Conducting field investigations, data management and technical reporting for contaminated site assessments, for clients across government and private industry sectors, both small and large in scale.
- Project management involvement across all project stages, from client attraction/ tender submissions through to project execution around the full life cycle of contaminated land assessments and remediation.
- Collaboration with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Bachelor’s degree qualification in Science (Environmental, Geology, Hydrogeology and related) or Engineering (Environmental and related).
- →5+ years’ experience in contamination assessment and remediation projects, ideally within a consulting environment.
- →Well-developed skills in fieldwork, including contractor engagement, leading site assessment and monitoring tasks.
- →Experience project managing multiple small, mid-sized or large scale multi-disciplinary projects concurrently.
- →Excellent listening and communication skills along with a readiness to develop relationships with your network.
- →A current full driver’s license.
- →Strong safety culture, embedded into everyday behaviours, leadership decisions and communication.
- →Willingness to work flexibly and independently, able to travel to regional locations on occasion.
- →For the right candidate, we will consider a part time arrangement (0.7 minimum).
