Our client is seeking an Assistant Controller to work directly with the Director of Accounting and executive leadership. This is a high-impact role with a clear path to Controller.

Succession planning into Controller
High visibility with CFO and leadership
Strong tenure across the organization (10–30+ years)
Collaborative, team-oriented culture
Competitive compensation + strong bonus potential

Lead month-end and year-end close

Oversee financial reporting and GAAP compliance

Manage revenue recognition (POC) and WIP schedules

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Drive process improvements and internal controls

Partner cross-functionally with operations and project teams

5–7+ years of accounting experience

Public accounting (Manager+) or industry experience

CPA preferred

Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge

Experience with job costing / project accounting is a plus
