Responsibilities

- →Coordinate with frontline to enhance respective sales performance.
- →Coordinate and manage all aspects of tour operations for Asia and China, including itinerary planning, transportation, accommodations, activities, and logistics.
- →Collaborate with suppliers, including hotels, transportation companies, and local guides, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- →Negotiate contracts and rates with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- →Research and select new suppliers based on quality, reliability, and customer feedback.
- →Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
- →Create detailed and accurate tour itineraries, including day-to-day schedules, activity descriptions, and travel information.
- →Collaborate with the sales team to customize itineraries and provide expertise on destinations, attractions, and cultural considerations.
- →Assist with resolving customer issues or emergencies during their travel, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- →Stay updated on industry trends, destination knowledge, and regulatory requirements in Asia and China to ensure compliance and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in tour operations, preferably with a specialization in Asia and China.
- In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including suppliers, logistics, and customer service best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and team members.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and travel-related software. Knowledge of Amadeus will be an advantage.
- Passion for travel and a deep understanding of the cultural nuances, attractions, and logistics of Asia and China.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to travel to Asia and China as required for supplier inspections, familiarization trips, and industry events.
