We're so happy you're here! Thank you for checking our job out and we hope to have the chance to meet you in our interview process!
About the Role
~1 min readGrüns is scaling across retail fast, and every new retailer brings its own specs, formats, and quirks. We need a production expert who protects our brand on every shelf and every printer. You'll take our approved designs and turn them into clean, print-ready files, catching problems before they ever hit a press. This is a technical, detail-obsessed role for someone who loves living between design and execution.
This role is part of our remote HQ! We have a fully remote, high-trust work environment - and also come together on a biannual basis for amazing off-sites where we can connect IRL.
- Own technical production for retail and packaging: dielines, print-ready files, and vendor specs
- Adapt approved retail concepts across formats, retailers, and sizes, and catch layout issues before they go to print
- Build and maintain a production system (templates, specs, file organization) that keeps retail assets moving fast and accurate as we add new retailers
- Become our go to person with print vendors about materials, tolerances, and print methods, and become their go-to person
- Be the go-to resource for cross-functional partners on print production, resolving technical questions and driving projects forward
- Provide backup production support for retail and DTC packaging
- Build quality checks that catch problems before they reach shelves
- Has 3+ years as a production artist in packaging, print, retail, visual merchandising, or something similar
- Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Figma and 3D rendering tools (like sketchup) are a plus.
- Has managed high-volume production across multiple SKUs, formats, retailers, and versions without missing a detail
- Communicates clearly with designers, vendors, printers, and internal teams
- Has a good eye for spacing, typography, and hierarchy, with room to grow. Bonus points if you've worked with print vendors or know flexo, digital, offset, or litho printing
- Exceptional proofreading skills and an eagle-eye focus on picking up minor alignment, copy, or structural discrepancies
- An understanding of color management techniques to maintain color consistency during print production.
- You ask good questions instead of guessing. "I don't know, let me find out" is just part of your process
- When a vendor says no or a spec doesn't work, you find a workaround. You don't just escalate it
- You move fast without losing precision, even on tight timelines
- You own your systems: naming, file structure, tracking, whatever keeps you sharp under pressure
- You treat production like a craft, not a checklist
What We Offer
~1 min readAt Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $100,000-$115,000 plus bonus depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.
For every role, we aim to have highly competitive compensation and opportunity for impact and career growth.
Everyone at Grüns works hard, but we believe in wellness and balance too. We have super strong benefits coverage -- for you and your family, generous PTO, free Grüns subscriptions, and a few more perks centered around health and well-being that we can't wait to tell you about!
At Grüns, we believe that foundational nutrition should be simple and convenient for everyone. We're dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition to you through our gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. Simply enjoy a grab-and-go snack pack of gummies daily whenever fits best in your schedule and wherever life takes you.
Like you, we were disappointed. There’s an infinite number of “nutrition” companies, all focused on what’s best for them — not what’s best for you. Hundreds of products to sell you on, low-quality ingredients, and small nutrient doses. We’ve seen it all.
So we decided it was time to fix it. No more choking on and popping pills like a pharmacy. No more clean-up and disgust from gross powders. And no more cobbling together handfuls to dozens of supplements. Grüns is comprehensive nutrition, made convenient and delicious.
