🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Field Leadership: Work hands-on in the field across a diverse range of conservation projects and lead surveys once fully trained.
- Participant Management: Manage large groups, ensuring they remain happy, healthy, safe, and engaged.
- Operational Support: Assist the Program Manager in daily project operations and "behind the scenes" program development.
- Mentorship: Provide in-field training to new participants and act as a positive role model by setting high expectations.
- Community Building: Welcome new arrivals into the "GVI Family" and provide 24-hour support, including out-of-hours socializing and entertainment.
- Compliance: Support the broader hub team and strictly enforce GVI rules and protocols at all times.
🚀 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Proven experience in field-based conservation or environmental projects.
- Strong leadership and operational skills, with the ability to manage group dynamics effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, immersive field environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support participants from diverse backgrounds.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Bonus if you also have: Previous experience with GVI or specific certifications in marine/coastal conservation.
- EU passport or permanent residency allowing you to live and work in Greece.
