The post holder will be engaged on a temporary casual basis as a member of the Admissions Team, supporting day-to-day admissions operations and procedures for student admissions to the University.
The role includes processing admission offers in a timely, accurate, consistent, and transparent manner to ensure a positive applicant experience. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of data quality at all times.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing the local and international application to generate offers using the CRM and Student Administrative System with the aim of 100% accuracy. This includes assessing qualifications, authenticity of results and defining entry requirements.
- Ensure that correct procedures and policy are followed when dealing with application with underage, fraudulent and criminal convictions.
- Maintain a high standard of knowledge and awareness of the HE sectors, relevant legislation, university’s entry requirements and admissions processes.
- Handle all administrative processes and admission of students including filing, archiving of data, reporting, etc.
- Attend to applicants’ enquiries independently in timely and professional manner.
- Establish close liaison with education consultants, academic department, international office, scholarship unit, registry and finance department.
- Assisting in recruitment activities such as Open Day, Education Exhibition, etc.
- Any other tasks deemed relevant in assisting the admissions & recruitment processes
