Infrastructure and System Management Engineer Description - As part of the worldwide system and software development, deployment and support team, your role is to: * Develop and manage Server Setup process for software installation servers worldwide. * Provide level 2 support to help desk, HP factories, labs, and partners, for issues related to software installation, connectivity and infrastructure * Provide solution within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) and assist in issue resolution or escalation if needed * Define and measure metrics to optimize results * Ensure support processes are documented and followed * Define and implement improvements as needed The number of years of experience given in Education and Experience required section is only a guideline and represents neither a prerequisite nor criteria for automatic promotion. Responsibilities: * Manage core system infrastructure end to end * Work closely with Regional PMs to support factories/ODMs/partners as technical rep * Develop and manage Server Setup process for software installation servers worldwide * Provide escalation support from help desk, factories, labs, and partners, for issues related to tools, installation, connectivity and infrastructure * Provide solution within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) and assist in issue resolution or escalation if needed * Define and measure metrics to optimize results * Ensure support processes are documented and followed * Define and implement improvements as needed Education and Experience Requirements: * Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field * Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in systems engineering, computer programming language, or a related field. * Foundational knowledge of IT concepts, including networking, databases (such as MS SQL or Cosmos DB), and operating systems (Windows or Linux), gained through academic studies, labs, or personal projects. * Basic understanding or exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS through coursework, certifications, or self-learning. * Familiarity with technical support concepts, including incident and problem management (ITIL fundamentals), with an interest in working in a support environment. * Understanding of system and network infrastructure basics, including connectivity principles. * Exposure to tools deployment or support through internships, university projects, or hands-on labs is a plus. * Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic and international) as required.
