The individual will oversee the legal and regulatory affairs for the company. This role will manage contracts, compliance matters, regulatory engagement, and legal risk management, ensuring alignment with SECP and fintech regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial services with the ability to support both day-to-day legal operations and long-term strategic initiatives
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Act as a liaison with regulators, external counsel, and government authorities on legal and compliance matters. And coordinate closely with company's legal under shared service agreement to manage above mentioned matters.
- →Provide legal guidance on licensing, regulatory inspections, and compliance frameworks
- →Ensure compliance with SBP, SECP and other applicable laws and regulations
- →Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and MOUs with partners, vendors, and clients
- →Ensure all legal documents are aligned with corporate standards and regulatory requirements
- →Maintain accurate records of all legal and contractual obligations
- →Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- →Provide legal opinions to management on new business initiatives, products, and partnerships
- →Support dispute resolution and litigation management where required
- →Work closely with Compliance, HR, Finance, and Business teams to integrate legal considerations into operations
- →Contribute to building a strong governance and compliance culture across the company
- Minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Bar at Law/LLM/LLB or any related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization
- Experience in a bank, EMI, fintech, or regulated financial institution growth functions is preferred.
Requirements

- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in stakeholder management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate should preferably be not more than 35 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
