Role Overview
The Marketing Head will lead the overall marketing strategy and brand direction of the organization, driving market presence, customer engagement, and business growth across multiple channels. The role requires a strong balance of strategic leadership and hands-on execution in brand management, digital marketing, market intelligence, and event activations. Ideal candidates are currently in a Senior Manager or AVP-level role with proven experience handling tangible or consumer-driven products.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or any related field; MBA or post-graduate studies is an advantage
- At least 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with significant exposure in strategic marketing, brand management, and integrated marketing campaigns
- Must have experience handling automotive, industrial, consumer, retail, or other tangible/product-driven industries.
- Preferably currently holding or previously held a Senior Manager, Group Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, or AVP-level position
- Strong background in market research, consumer insights, and translating market data into actionable business strategies
- Proven experience in digital marketing initiatives, including social media campaigns, online promotions, performance marketing, and brand visibility programs
- Extensive exposure in handling events and activations such as trade shows, dealer/customer engagements, product launches, partnerships, experiential marketing, and on-ground promotional activities
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, operations, and external partners/agencies
- Excellent communication, presentation, project management, and strategic planning capabilities
- Highly analytical, creative, and results-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth targets
- Lead brand management initiatives to strengthen market positioning, customer engagement, and overall brand equity
- Drive market research and consumer insight activities to identify market trends, customer behaviors, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities
- Oversee digital marketing campaigns and brand visibility initiatives across various platforms, including social media, online advertising, outdoor/billboard placements, and promotional activities
- Plan and manage events and activations such as trade shows, dealer/customer events, partnerships, sponsorships, experiential marketing programs, and product/brand launches
- Collaborate closely with sales and commercial teams to support revenue generation, channel development, and customer acquisition initiatives
- Manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, suppliers, and event organizers to ensure effective campaign execution
- Monitor marketing performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, ROI, and customer engagement analytics to drive continuous improvement
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, ensuring alignment, capability development, and high-performance execution
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging and marketing communications across all channels and touchpoints
