Senior Engineer - Video Compression Research and International Standardization

• Research on innovative algorithms in the field of video compression

• Implement the innovative algorithms into the reference software, conduct comprehensive testing, including compression performance and complexity analysis

• Participate in international standardization

• Research on innovative algorithms in the field of artificial intelligent

• Generate patents, papers, technical reports

• PhD or Master degree in electrical engineering, information technology, computer science, mathematics or physics.

• Deep interest in the topics related to video compression and artificial intelligence

• Proven record of scientific research achievement in video compression or/and artificial intelligent fields

• International standardization experience, submitted contributions to JVET/MPEG/VCEG and got some of them adopted

• Patents related to video or image coding

• Excellent knowledge of international video coding standards (at least HEVC and VVC)

• Working in a multi-national team and you like to collaborate with researchers to develop creative solutions

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Excellent software skills (C/C++, Python, Pytorch, Tensorflow, Matlab)
