About the Role
Voda Cleaning & Restoration is a growing restoration and cleaning franchise serving Oakland, Macomb, and Lapeer counties. We handle water damage, mold remediation, carpet cleaning, and more — and we're building our core team to match our growth.
We're looking for someone who is natural on the phone, great with people, and has the personality to walk into a room and build relationships. If you're looking to grow professionally and want to build a career — not just fill a seat — we want to hear from you.
We care more about who you are than what your resume says.

What You'll Do
Customer Communication & Booking
• Follow up on unbooked leads — when a customer didn't convert from an initial contact, you step in, have a real conversation, address their concerns, and get the job booked.
• Handle inbound calls with confidence — answer questions, overcome objections, and close the appointment. No script, just genuine communication.
• Coordinate scheduling and communicate job details clearly with customers.
• Follow up after every completed job — confirm satisfaction, collect payments, and request reviews.
• Maintain accurate customer records in our CRM system.

Office & Administrative Support
• Manage daily office communications — emails, calls, and scheduling.
• Assist with invoicing, payment follow-ups, and basic reporting.
• Keep the office organized and operations running smoothly.
• Help prepare weekly activity summaries and set up for the week ahead.

Networking & Business Development
• Represent Voda at local Chamber of Commerce events, BNI meetings, city and community events.
• Build relationships with real estate agents, property managers, facilities managers, and other referral partners.
• Identify and pursue new commercial account opportunities in our service area.
• Develop a consistent outreach routine and keep records of prospect interactions.

What Your Week Looks Like
This role follows a structured weekly rhythm that balances office work with time out in the community. Your days are intentionally split — dedicated time in the office to handle calls, follow-ups, scheduling, and customer communication, and dedicated time in the field for outreach, networking, and building relationships with referral partners. One day each week is typically set aside as a full office day to catch up on open items, review the week, and prepare for the week ahead. While this structure keeps everyone on track, we recognize that priorities can shift from week to week, and some flexibility is expected as long as key responsibilities are met. In most cases, you'll start and end your day at our office, unless the situation calls for otherwise.

Compensation
• Competitive hourly base pay, based on experience.
• Commission on every job you personally bring in — residential or commercial — through your own outreach, referrals, and networking (paid company leads not included).
• Ongoing commission on commercial accounts you land — when an account you brought in keeps coming back, you keep earning on the work they send our way. The more an account grows, the more you earn.

What We're Looking For
• Natural on the phone and in person — you're comfortable talking to people, building rapport quickly, and making someone feel heard.
• Confident enough to have a real conversation with a hesitant customer — not pushy, but able to address concerns and guide someone to a decision.
• Outgoing and community-minded — you're comfortable walking into a networking event, introducing yourself, and representing a brand with confidence.
• Someone who takes their work seriously and wants to grow professionally over time.
• Organized and dependable — the office side of this role is real and important. You follow through, keep records, and stay on top of things.
• Some prior experience in office admin, customer service, or sales is a plus — but not required. The right attitude and work ethic matter more.
• Basic computer skills — email, scheduling software, CRM tools (we'll train you on our systems).

Why Voda
• You're joining a growing local business where your contributions are visible and valued — not lost in a large department somewhere.
• As Voda grows, this role grows with it. We see a clear path toward leadership in office management or sales for the right person.
• Local, owner-operated business — we invest in the people who show up and perform.
• Stable, in-demand industry — water damage, mold, and cleaning services are needed year-round regardless of economic conditions.
• You'll have real ownership over your day-to-day. We set clear expectations and trust you to deliver.
