Process Worker – Shredder Operator

We are currently looking to fill the full-time permanent position of Shredder Operator. We are seeking individuals with strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take initiative – full training will be given.

This role works shifts consisting of a 4 on 4 off roster (2x 12hr days - 7am-7:30pm, 2x 12hr nights -7pm-7:30am) then 4 days off, and potential for extra hours.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating the shredder and loader in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensuring the boiler fuel supply is maintained, and various other tasks related to boiler operation
• Collecting and processing various unused material from site
  

Ideally we are seeking candidates who:

• Are able to perform work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures
• Have good mechanical knowledge & maintenance skills
• Have experience driving mobile plant
• Are able to work unsupervised in a largely sole charge position
• Have a full clean drivers licence – having a ‘W’ and ‘F’ endorsement would be an advantage but not essential
