Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00pm to 12:00am


Job Summary: The Motorist Assistance Technician provides services for stranded or disabled vehicles under moderate supervision. Assists with Athletic and other special events on Campus.


Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.


Skills and Knowledge: Basic math skills. Basic knowledge in the usage of personal computers or handheld devices. Ability to use the tools and equipment of the job. Ability to read and write. Ability to walk for extended periods of time during various weather conditions. Ability to lift and maneuver various tools and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.


Preferred Qualifications: Some automobile maintenance, warehouse, automotive retail, stocking/receiving, construction, or other manual labor experience. Experience working outdoors.
