CX & Growth Student Assistant
Quick Summary
Content Creation & Visual Design: Developing, writing, and designing engaging assets for our digital touchpoints.
Are you a creative all-rounder with an eye for design, a feel for language, and a genuine curiosity about how businesses grow? Do you want to work where your output actually ships – campaigns, guides, customer stories, ads – and see how it performs in real-time?
We are looking for an ambitious Comms & Marketing Student Assistant to join our Marketing & Communications function inside the wider CX & Growth team. This is a broad marketing role with a strong creative and visual backbone, where you will take ideas and actually produce them – visually, verbally, and end-to-end.
Responsibilities
~1 min readYour week will be varied, but you will have core ownership and drive momentum across these primary areas:
- →Content Creation & Visual Design: Developing, writing, and designing engaging assets for our digital touchpoints. This includes everything from graphics and external slide decks to cutting and editing short-form video content.
- →SoMe & Channel Management: Taking charge of our social media presence, planning content pipelines, and ensuring our brand voice hits right. You will also be key in executing our newsletters and email marketing.
- →Campaign Development & Internal Comms: Partnering with the team to brainstorm and execute marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will play an important role in supporting our internal communications to keep the bank connected.
You will be an integrated part of the marketing team, but because we believe in breaking down silos and moving fast, you will collaborate with colleagues across the entire bank and at all levels of seniority.
You don’t need to tick every single box – curiosity, taste, and drive matter most to us. Ideally, you:
- Are currently studying (marketing, communication, business, design, media, or similar). Preferably with at least 2 years left
- Have aesthetic flair, a real eye for clean layout, modern design, and visual craft
- Are language-savvy with a sharp feel for tone, copy, and storytelling
- Think commercially and have genuine interest in how marketing drives business growth
- Work independently, take initiative, and are comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders
- Speak Danish fluently (preferred, not required – strong language sense matters more than native fluency)
- Bonus: hands-on experience with Figma, InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud
- Bonus: experience with AI generation and productivity tools in a marketing context
What We Offer
~1 min readWe offer a high-energy, collaborative fintech environment built on trust, humor, ambition, and innovation.
With the latest technology and an out-of-the-box mindset, we are building the future role model for business banking. As a neobank, we’ve built our platform from scratch – completely independent of existing structures and processes – and we aim to deliver services and products that make life much easier for small and medium-sized businesses across Europe.
Since opening our doors in August 2021, we have grown by leaps and bounds. With traction in Denmark, Germany, and Spain, we are now considered one of the leading fintechs in the Nordics. In 2024, kompasbank was ranked as #2 on the Sifted 250, a leaderboard highlighting the fastest-growing companies in Europe based on revenue growth.
We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis — submit your CV and a short cover letter telling us why you're the right creative fit. Any questions about the role? Feel free to reach out directly to our Head of Marketing & Communications, Kasper Kankelborg.
