This position is: Full Time and Exempt; Support-raised 

Location: US-Based; Remote


The International Expansion Lead is a critical role driving Launch Global's mobilization efforts into new areas to support the global church as it develops and sends laborers who multiply healthy churches among unreached peoples. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing strategic expansion into new regions. This will require a visionary approach to mobilization and a need to develop strong relationships with international agencies and churches.

Finances

This is a full-time, support-raised position. Launch Global provides training, resources, and coaching on how to raise your own financial support. The average length of time it takes Launch Global staff to raise all required financial support is three months due to the excellent training provided.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Regional Expansion

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of potential new geographic regions
  • Work with the International Director to develop comprehensive strategies for entering and establishing presence in new geographic regions
  • Create detailed implementation plans that align with Launch Global's core mission and values
  • Assess cultural, political, and ministry landscapes to inform strategic decision-making

Church Relationships and Partnerships

  • Establish and nurture initial relationships with local churches, ministry partners, and potential collaborators in target regions
  • Cast vision for Launch Global's unique approach to church mobilization
  • Build trust and credibility with international partners through authentic and strategic engagement
  • Develop a robust network of relationships that support long-term ministry objectives

Agency Relationship Management

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with international mission agencies and ministry organizations
  • Develop collaborative frameworks for joint ministry initiatives
  • Negotiate and manage partnership agreements
  • Ensure alignment of partner organizations with Launch Global's mission and core values

Digital and Event-Based Recruitment

  • Design and implement comprehensive digital recruitment strategies targeting potential mobilizers and church leaders
  • Create engaging multimedia content that communicates Launch Global's vision and opportunities
  • Plan and execute international recruitment events, conferences, and mission awareness programs
  • Leverage digital marketing techniques to expand reach and engagement

Additional Responsibilities

  • Attend LG annual gatherings.
  • Participate in the annual, organizational performance review process.
  • Submit expense reports as needed and on schedule.
  • Continue to grow professionally in all aspects of the areas of responsibility assigned.
  • Have a monthly Day of Prayer and Evaluation (DOPE).

Hours and Travel Requirements

  • Willing to travel internationally, approximately 30-40% of the time
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required by international ministry demands

  • Strong understanding of global missions and church mobilization strategies
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including ability to prioritize appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to think proactively, plan effectively, and follow up faithfully
  • Contribute to or lead when assigned various projects as a part of overall team strategy.
  • Displays a track record of achieving results by relying on God in prayer and humility exercised in bold faith. 
  • Displays values of humility, eagerness, and excellence.
  • Willingness to receive coaching and make necessary changes based on feedback from the development team and other leaders. 
  • Share ideas, convictions, and encouragement with your team.


Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in missiology, international relations, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international ministry, mission work, or non-profit leadership
  • Understand, affirm and adhere to Launch Global’s Statement of Faith
  • Agree to uphold Launch Global’s Vision, Mission and Values

    • Mission: Launch Global exists to mobilize churches to develop laborers and leaders who multiply healthy churches among unreached people groups

  • Demonstrate Christ-likeness in accordance with biblical values
  • Demonstrate all the character, Launch Global, and biblical values as stated in the Launch Global Staff Handbook
  • Uphold a close and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Participate in a child safety training program upon hire and other similar employment-related requirements.
  • Create and execute a personal development plan annually with the assistance of your supervisor.
