Disability Support Leader. Permanent Full Time - Gosford

Provide personalised coaching and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers, focusing on skill development and best practices, while overseeing the operations of up to 3 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. The role involves an on-call component once every 8 weeks as well as occasional travel.

• →Lead and coordinate high-volume 24/7 service operations
• →Provide proactive leadership to a team of Disability Support Workers
• →Continuity of support services through management of unexpected leave coverage
• →Foster a culture of resilience and adaptability
• →Encourage staff competency in active support and complex client care
• →Effectively manage crisis situations and complex behavioural incidents
• →Act as a key liaison with families, navigating complex care dynamics
• →National collaboration to maintain service alignment
• →Balance competing demands, ensuring completion of mandatory reporting, compliance, risk management, and resource optimisation

• Previous leadership experience within the delivery of services supporting people with complex care needs and high behaviours 
• Established influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to think creatively and problem solve
• Diploma in relevant Social & Community Services or relevant experience
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
