Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Registered Manager to join a well-established, family-run care provider. This organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead a brand-new children’s residential home in Derby. It’s an exciting opportunity to become part of a passionate team that places children and young people at the heart of everything they do.

Responsibilities

  • Register with Ofsted and ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation
  • Lead and inspire a team of care professionals
  • Oversee care plans, risk assessments and behaviour strategies
  • Manage recruitment, training and staff development
  • Build strong relationships with external agencies and families
  • Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and data protection
  • Promote a nurturing, structured and empowering environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role you must have, 

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role within a children’s residential setting
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding and relevant legislation
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in young lives
