Job Description:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join its client’s Children in Need Team based in Leicester.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Carry out Child in Need assessments to determine the level of support required.
• Develop and implement Child in Need plans in collaboration with families and professionals.
• Coordinate services such as housing, education, and health to meet the child’s needs.
• Monitor progress and review plans regularly to ensure effectiveness.
• Work with children who may be disabled, young carers, homeless, or affected by parental issues (e.g. imprisonment, substance misuse).
• Promote the child’s welfare while supporting family stability.
• Engage with families on a voluntary basis, unless safeguarding concerns arise.
• Liaise with multi-agency teams including schools, health professionals, and voluntary organisations.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
