As an EHS Co-ordinator working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our team at our HQ in Sligo, Co. Sligo
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining safety procedures, preparing risk assessments & method statements (RAMS), reviewing good catches, reviewing vendor documentation, conducting & managing training, and carrying out occasional site inspections/audits and implementing corrective measures. This is an office-based position with occasional travel to sites throughout the country.
Responsibilities

- →Conduct weekly toolbox talks/ shared learnings.
- →Ensure compliance with the ISO45001 & ISO14001 standards, client site requirements and legal requirements.
- →Ensure safety statements and required Risk Assessments & Method statements (RAMS) are available on sites.
- →Carry out accident, incident investigations and root cause analysis studies.
- →Supervise and manage health & safety and environmental documentation to support the Company’s integrated EHS management system.
- →Supervise, track and manage health & safety and environmental corrective measures to support the Company’s integrated EHS management system.
- →Manage the companies good catch program.
- →Manage the companies EHS training including VDU assessments.
- →Deliver Environmental Health & Safety induction programmes and site specific EHS training for personnel working on site.
- →Conduct occasional site audits/ inspections to ensure safety operating procedures are adhered to at all times including vendor health and safety documentation.
- →Represent at occasional client site meetings when required for safety performance, safety projects and risk assessments reporting.
- →Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
- Recent Occupational Health and Safety Graduate or 1 to 3 years’ experience in safety coordinator and/or officer role.
- Highly motivated with excellent attention to professional EHS standards.
- Ability to work in a team environment and can engage, motivate and work with people.
- Excellent organisational & communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Occasional travel involved.
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Full Drivers License.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
