Coop Trainee

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

Health, Safety & Compliance 

• Attend general safety induction and mine-specific safety training 

• Comply with all HSE policies, procedures, and site safety rules 

• Use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times 

Learning & Reporting 

• Prepare weekly learning summaries or short presentations 

• Participate in on‑the‑job training sessions and supervisor feedback 

• Complete assigned training tasks and final evaluation 

Learning Outcomes 

By the end of the training, the trainee will: 

• Understand basic mining operations and workflows 

• Demonstrate awareness of safety requirements in mining environments 

• Gain exposure to mining equipment and production processes 

• Develop professional discipline, teamwork, and communication skills
