W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay; Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring a Full Time and Part Time Finance Assistant. As Finance Assistant, you will assist the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance in daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures, timely processing of financial transactions, and maintaining detailed records to support reporting and audits.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure the daily tasks of Accounts Payable, Night Audit, and Income Audit are being carried out timely, accurately and to required standards
- Support the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance
- Accurate data entry and archiving
- Maintain accurate financial and customer records
- Assist in month-end closing processes
- Administrative duties as required
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Ensure compliance with all local legislation
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hotel
- Must demonstrate a proven track record of experience across the field and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a high attention to detail.
