POSITION DUTIES

The Revenue Administration Division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to serve as an�Assistant Section Manager in the Returns Processing Section. This is a dynamic, fast-paced, high-volume�position that requires someone with good attention to detail, and an ability to handle many high-level tasks�while managing deadlines. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is able to�adapt to change, and able to motivate people to achieve a high level of accurate and efficient production.\r\n\r\n\r\nThis position is responsible for the direct supervision and daily operations of the Data Capture and�Scanning Unit, Document Control Unit, and Error Correction Unit. The Assistant Section Manager is�responsible for learning the duties of the Section Manager and effectively performing those duties in the�absence of the Section Manager. This responsibility encompasses the processing of multiple tax types in�a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment.\r\n\r\n\r\nPLEASE NOTE: Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed application.\r\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Possession of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university.\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience: Five years of professional experience in auditing, accounting, the practice of tax law, or�general management. Three years of this experience must have involved supervising professional�accountants or auditors; giving legal advice requiring the interpretation of tax laws in the capacity of a tax�attorney; or must have been in a responsible administrative or management capacity sufficient to�demonstrate capabilities of performing responsible staff work.\r\n\r\n\r\nNotes:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Candidates may substitute an additional four\r\n years of experience for the required education\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n** For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at http://www.naces.org/members.html.\r\n

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\r\n\r\n Knowledge of state and federal tax forms, laws, rules and regulations.\r\n Knowledge and experience working in COM Systems, including GPE tax system, BobJ/Data Warehouse,\r\n MeF and Service Now.\r\n Proficient working in MS Suite of Application, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\r\n Experience leading training (one-on -one and group settings)\r\n Experience with handling large volumes of work and prioritizing\r\n Excellent communication skills.\r\n\r\n\r\n
