What's the Role
We are currently looking for a Group Accountant to join our group finance team.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller (“GFC”) you will play an active role in the Group Finance function by supporting the GFC in the production of various consolidated group reports.
You will also be responsible for timely and accurate management accounting for a number of small group entities ensuring full compliance with CRO, CSO etc is maintained.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of consolidated cash forecast, debtors and creditors reporting
- Supporting GFC in the implementation of further consolidated group reporting and periodic preparation thereafter
- Maintaining strong collaborative relations with business unit Financial Controllers across the Group to support timely production of consolidated group reporting in line with group reporting deadlines
- Responsibility for timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts for group companies
- Responsibility for related Revenue, CSO and CRO compliance
- Maintaining related VAT compliance
- Preparation of annual budget and forecasts for group companies
- Preparation for and engagement with external Auditors for group companies
- Liaise with advisors to ensure group companies tax reporting obligations are met on time
- Ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant, part
- Previous experience in month end close including journal posting
- Experience in making timely ROS, CSO, CRO returns. VAT experience
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Results orientated with attention to detail and a commitment excellence
