Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. ## Global AMHS Operations Support * Act as the global lead for critical issue resolution and technical support regarding AMHS operational concerns across manufacturing sites. * Partner with site AMHS operations staff to resolve sophisticated, cross-system, or systemic issues impacting uptime, cycle time, or safety. * Lead root cause analysis for recurrent or high-impact AMHS events, driving permanent corrective actions and systemic improvements. * Define and govern AMHS operational best-known methods (BKMs), recovery playbooks, and standard response approaches across sites. * Support high-volume manufacturing (HVM) fabs by balancing operational stability with continuous improvement and long-term roadmap alignment. ## Global Technical Leadership & Governance * Serve as the worldwide technical expert for AMHS and factory automation systems. * Define and maintain global standards, develop guidelines, and scope ownership for AMHS, wafer logistics, and warehouse automation. * Drive fab-to-fab alignment toward common architectures, performance targets, and operational expectations. ## System Build, Performance & Optimization * Lead AMHS system build reviews, capacity modeling, and performance evaluations to support new builds, expansions, and large-scale modifications. * Drive improvements in efficiency, overall equipment efficiency (OEE), reliability, and cost through data-driven analysis and system-level optimization. * Partner with simulation, analytics, and operations teams to validate builds and sustain performance over time. ## Advanced & Emerging Automation * Lead evaluation and deployment of next-generation automation technologies, including: * Equipment like sorter, bare wafer stocker, N2STB * Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR / AGV) * Automated warehousing and ASRS * Wafer logistics automation systems * Humanoid and robotic solutions for fab and warehouse operations * Ensure new technologies' transition efficiently into stable, production operations. ## Global Collaboration & Influence * Collaborate across engineering, operations, construction, IT, EHS, procurement, and suppliers across regions. * Influence senior leadership decisions through clear, data-backed technical recommendations. * Mentor and develop engineers globally, raising technical depth and operational maturity across the network. ## Supplier & Program Leadership * Own technical engagement with global AMHS and automation suppliers, spanning build, operations support, and roadmap alignment. * Support capital planning, technical scope definition, and major automation programs. * Ensure supplier solutions meet Micron requirements for operability, maintainability, and long-term sustainability.
