Maintain and support core health information systems, including EHRs, patient scheduling, and documentation tools.
Collaborate with clinical, operational, and IT teams to analyze system requirements and workflows.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Support regulatory and compliance reporting by ensuring accurate data collection and integration across systems.
Assist in managing user access, permissions, and training for clinical systems.
Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders on upgrades, maintenance, and testing.
Participate in projects focused on data quality, system enhancements, and workflow improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in healthcare IT, ideally in home health or hospice settings.
Strong working knowledge of EHR systems such as Homecare Homebase, Epic, or MatrixCare.
Experience with SQL, data integration tools, or health IT interfaces preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS regulations, and quality metrics in post-acute care settings.
