This position offers flexibility, as the individual will have a mix of day and night shifts.
Our Guest Service Agents have a strong influence in ensuring the above goals are met and exceeded, as they are empowered to make decisions and they welcome guests with their best smile!
As a Night Auditor, you will be acting as Manager on Duty during the overnight shift. This is a critical shift and requires quick decision making skills, ability to communicate with the Security person on shift and report back to management.

This position is responsible for balancing and closing previous business day and completing daily financial reports. This position successfully manages person in charge duties during the overnight shift, including showing sound judgment in making independent decisions and ensuring security protocols are being followed.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
• Assists guests in a friendly, professional and timely manner, while following Hilton high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Performs guest services functions as required (i.e. checking guests in/out, taking reservations, wake-up calls, etc.).
• Has knowledge about room rates, packages, discounts and promotions and know how to handle each.
• Has knowledge about guest rooms, locations, amenities, features and all other services offered by the hotel.
• Audit and reconcile all Front Desk and Cashier’s work.
• Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports.
• Prepare and distribute necessary daily reports as required according to hotel standards.
• Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis.
• Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures.
• Report to work on time, in proper and clean uniform, including name tag. Personal appearance
and grooming must conform with standard.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the front desk and back office area at all times. Utilize spare time for cleaning. Keep computer equipment clean at all times..
GUEST SERVICE AGENT:
Operate the functional areas of guest registration, bell services, telephone services, and guest reservations to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize hotel profitability.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; responds promptly to any guest request for service.
* Maintains a “can do” and a “guests first” attitude at all times.
* Works as a member of the overall hotel team to ensure that each guest has an experience that exceeds their expectations
* Attends scheduled training sessions within the hotel as dictated by the Hilton brand and the hotel management.
* Ensures adherence to procedures for hotel accounting, credit control, handling of financial transactions, security of monies, guest security and emergency procedures as established.

Requirements:
* Previous hotel Guest Service experience a plus
* Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and
weekend shifts.
* Must be able to read, write and speak English.
* Requires strong organizational skills.
* Must be able to work independently.
* Able be able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
* Able to lift at least 20 pounds.
* Excellent people skills and an energetic personality.
* Meet/exceed customer and team expectations.
* Computer experience strongly desired.
* Cash handling experience
