Trainee-Neurosurgery

Performs basic administrative functions.

Performs basic data entry and collection, as well as statistical analysis, for investigator-initiated research projects.

Writes research manuscripts for submission to academic journals. 

Assists in preparing IRB and GCO submissions/filings. 

Obtains informed consent under supervision of the investigator(s) and educates participants regarding study requirements. 

Performs other related duties assigned.

High School Diploma or GED required, Associates or greater depending on department and role.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or a related field preferred

• Exposure to academic research environments, (authorship on previous academic publications is preferred) 

• Exposure to the field of neuroscience (knowledge of cerebrovascular and spine pathologies is preferred)
