As Marqeta’s Key Account Manager, you will partner with a cross-functional team and manage one of our global strategic accounts. You will bring a strong track record of growth and deep relationship-building experience to provide exceptional client service, uncover revenue-generating opportunities and workable solutions to your customers. You persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your customer to understand how our product offerings can grow their business.

- Strategic Connector: Our customers and partners rely deeply on the expertise and knowledge of our Account Managers. You excel at supporting cross-functional efforts and love connecting people and ideas to drive innovation.
- Curious Questioner: Your passion for knowledge and learning drives you to constantly dig deeper to understand your customers, Marqeta, our technology, and the industry in general.
- 10+ years of commercial account management experience
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, email) and track record of creating and executing strategic account plans
- Strong grasp of industry trends and competitive landscape
- Hands-on experience in negotiating contracts, pricing models and renewals
- Extensive knowledge in fintech, banking, payments and money movement
- Proven experience growing and scaling strategic or enterprise accounts
- Proven track record of managing global customers with multi-region stakeholders
- Proven track record of cross-selling and upselling, and ability to identify new revenue streams based on customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to influence others in a matrix environment, gaining buy-in at multiple levels across the organisation
- Experience leading business reviews and using data-driven strategies to make informed decisions
- Experience in Acquiring, Card Issuing or Processing.
