Responsibilities
~1 min read- →All bins, pails, trash cans are to be emptied and disinfected into appropriate receptacles (general trash vs biohazard trash)
- →Bathrooms cleaned and disinfected
- →Floors will be cleaned regularly
- →Office furniture cleaned
- →Counter tops to be wiped down after supplies have been moved in order to clean entire surface
- →Windows and window blinds wiped down and disinfected on a regular basis
- →General cleaning such as vacuuming, and dusting/wiping down all equipment and their stands
- →Additional duties as assigned
- Knowledge of essential cleaning and disinfection standards
- Knowledge of chemicals, MSDS and proper use of chemicals
- Knowledge of OSHA and biohazard standards to ensure safety on the job and compliance with OSHA standards on the job site
- Skill in operating various janitorial equipment
- Skill in accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to read and write legibly
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service for both internal and external customers
- Ability to exercise good judgment in appraising situations and making decisions
- Ability to work and interact effectively and positively with other staff members to build and to enhance teamwork in the clinics and overall NVHC's organization
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to understand and respond appropriately, effectively and sensitively to special population groups as defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, sex, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis
