NextGen Hospitality Solutions is excited to announce an opening for an Executive Chef at our upscale steakhouse located in Milwaukee. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to bring culinary creativity and leadership to a vibrant dining establishment known for its premium offerings and exceptional service.
As the Executive Chef, you will lead our culinary team in creating unforgettable dining experiences. Your expertise will drive menu development, kitchen operations, and staff training, all aimed at maintaining the high standards of our restaurant while exceeding guest expectations. This role is pivotal in promoting our brand and contributing to our strategic vision in the competitive restaurant industry.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth within our expanding organization.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and execute innovative menus that highlight premium ingredients and seasonal flavors
- →Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- →Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high culinary standards and operational efficiency
- →Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- →Collaborate with the management team to align culinary offerings with business goals
- →Oversee food presentation and quality control during service
- →Manage ordering, budgeting, and cost control within the kitchen
- →Stay informed about culinary trends and incorporate them into the menu
Requirements
~1 min read- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within a high-end restaurant
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for steak and upscale dining
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to create and adapt menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen setting preferred
