As part of Business Applications Support, you ensure reliable first‑line operational support for SAP S/4HANA and connected business applications. You act as the primary point of contact for end users, focusing on timely incident resolution, clear communication, and structured escalation. In this role, you contribute to stable system operations and a positive user experience, while supporting access management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the application landscape.
Provide first‑line (L1) functional support for SAP S/4HANA across core business processes
Analyse, log, resolve, and track incidents and service requests via the ITSM system
Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support and coordinate resolution
Support users with SAP Fiori apps and daily system usage
Perform basic checks on data consistency, reporting outputs, and integrations
Manage SAP “For Me” tickets, including logging, tracking, and coordinating follow‑up actions
Act as liaison between SAP, IT, and internal stakeholders
Support SAP user access requests, role assignments, and basic authorisation troubleshooting
Provide support for peripheral tools (reporting, data, integrations) connected to SAP
Monitor interfaces and data flows, coordinating fixes with internal teams or vendors
Ensure clear and timely communication with end users on incident status and resolution
Maintain accurate ticket documentation, categorisation, and prioritisation
Contribute to knowledge base articles, documentation, and FAQs
Identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Assist with testing and validation activities during SAP updates and releases
Supporting current business applications e.g. troubleshooting, change management, upgrading and testing
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
Strong affinity for data, technology, and system-driven business processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear communicator, able to explain complex topics to different audiences across IT and business
Experience supporting reporting, data, or integration tools
Understanding of ITIL-based support processes
Strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge with hands‑on experience in a support role
Experience in application support (L1 or L2), preferably within an SAP environment
Basic to good understanding of SAP S/4HANA business processes
Experience with SAP Fiori applications
Experience with SAP authorisations and user management
