Using Agile, they provide diverse services with a focus on research, innovation and improvement. What you will be doing: Design, build, and secure scalable environments across Azure and AWS. You will take a lead role in managing IAM/RBAC and implementing Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect critical financial assets. Automate the provisioning and configuration of resources (including EC2 instances and serverless components) using Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation. Develop and maintain high-velocity pipelines via GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins. Manage and scale container solutions using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, ECS). Oversee monitoring, alerting, and logging (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Datadog/Prometheus) while relentlessly optimising for cost efficiency and resource utilization. Implement robust disaster recovery and high-availability strategies, providing Tier 3 support for complex cloud incidents. What our client is looking for: A relevant tertiary degree would be beneficial (Computer Science, IT, etc.). 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps. Proven proficiency in both AWS (specifically EC2 and WAF) and Azure. Deep experience with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) and Docker. Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Familiarity with multi-cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and secure traffic management via WAF. Expert-level knowledge of IaC (Terraform) and CI/CD management. AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional). Azure Solutions Architect or Administrator. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Looking for ways to make the environment more secure and efficient. You thrive in Agile/Scrum environments and can communicate complex technical designs to cross-functional teams.
